Reservation Bar & Booking Indicators

Previously, all booking indicator icons were permanently displayed on every reservation bar. This created visual clutter, particularly for properties with many rooms. In the new design, each bar shows only the booking source icon and guest name. All other indicators appear in a clean hover tooltip when you move the cursor over a reservation.

Before: Previous Stay View multiple indicator icons on every reservation bar, making it visually busy

After : New Stay View hovering a reservation shows a clean tooltip with applicable booking indicators

Maintenance Blocks

Maintenance blocks on the Stay View calendar have been visually improved. Previously they appeared as a plain solid dark bar with the generic caption “MAINTENANCE BLOCK”, giving no context about the reason. In the new design, maintenance blocks use a distinctive diagonal stripe pattern with the actual block reason shown directly on the bar (e.g. “AC REPAIRING”, “PAINTING WORK IS GOING ON”, “BATHROOM CLEANING”).

Before : Previous solid dark bar, generic “MAINTENANCE BLOCK” label

After : New diagonal stripe pattern with actual reason (e.g. “AC REPAIRING”)

What This Means for Your Team

The Simplified StayView delivers a cleaner, faster, and more intuitive calendar experience so your front desk team can focus on guests, not the interface.

Cleaner Header

5 key shortcuts stay in view; everything else is one click away in the Quick Menu.

Universal Search

One search modal covers Bookings, Guests, Business Sources, Travel Agents, and Companies.

Less Visual Clutter

Reservation bars show only the source icon and guest name; all other indicators appear on hover.

Maintenance Clarity

Diagonal-striped blocks show the actual reason directly on the bar no need to open the block.

Occupancy at a Glance

Color-coded progress bars in the footer let staff scan availability across all dates instantly.

Consistent Colors

16 predefined colors for Status and Reservation Type ensure clarity and consistency across properties.
